Book Fair in the Media Center : May 22-24
There will be a Book Fair held in the Media Center this week, Wednesday through Friday. It will be open from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm each day. If you cannot make it to the library, you can shop online until June 6th. See the Book Fair icon at the top of this page.

Ashley Prom : May 18, 2013
Go ahead and mark you calendars! When people are dressed in their best attire; Matching their
dates for a day. This is the day of prom, where the theme this year will
include The Great Gatsby.
The Great Gatsby, which is a part of the Great Read,
will be providing the guests with a entertainment. People can look forward to
music, awesome DJ’ing, great atmosphere, and food catered by Bon’ Appetite. If
you are interested in participating in this extravagant of an event, there are
steps in order to attend.
All you have to do is go to the AHS website, download
application link, make sure you pay all of your fines, and then purchase your
tickets. Tickets can be purchased via online, or paid with cash in person
during the time period from April fifteenth to May first. You may be wondering
about the opportunity of becoming prom princess/prom prince or becoming prom
king/prom queen. The process is simple, just buy a ticket and your name is
automatically put on the ballot. Ticket prices start out at sixty five dollars
a person.
The only thing that you cannot forget is to make sure you get to prom
ON TIME. It is best to arrive early, ahead of time before doors lock at seven
thirty p.m. Just remember that the prom experience is an amazing one, and a
time period you’ll remember for the rest of your life. On your mark get ready….

Library Book Club
We will be having our first meeting on Tuesday, September 11th in the media center after school. The club is open to all grade levels. We will be discussing which books we will be reading and what other types of activities we want to include at the meetings.
