Steampunk

"Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction and speculative fiction. The books are set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used - usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era Britain. They might also contain alternate history-style presentations of "the path not taken" for such technology as dirigibles, analog computers, or digital mechanical computers (such as Charles Babbage's Analytical engine). Some recent titles have placed steampunk elements in books that are not in any specific time period. The Wild Wild West televison series and movie reflect elements of steampunk. There is a growing movement establishing steampunk as a culture and lifestyle". For more info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/steampunk
